Free speech isn't equitable speech
Free speech is not necessarily equitable speech. What people want seems to be equatable speech. Who gets to choose? Nina?
Until I meet an actual Philosopher King or King Solomon, then equity is just thumbs on scales. It's basically Cyrano.
It's basically bias dressed up as equity. The power is in who gets to choose who's voice is worthy of amplifying and who's voice is worth suppressing.
That's what equity is.
That's equality for authoritarians. Egalitarianism for folks who are afraid of losing control of their own power, or perceived power.
The old tail wagging to dog schtick.
