Are we the world, are we the children?
The level of shameless we are the world propaganda is so rich, thick, endless, and uncritical of itself that it's stressing even me out and I'm probably a nihilist and nonplussed by most global behavior. My only constant is being profoundly anti-war but also being profoundly anti "liberal democracy by force" as well. It's a direct analog to a sort of 11th century Crusades, just replacing Rome with America (fuck yeah?). It's crazy-making to me. I'm not listening to the news anymore. Yikes!
