The progressive pendulum is swinging right
I feel like the long con perpetrated on the fine people who protested Floyd will be way more police rather than defund the police. Why? Because Americans lose all their fucks if they feel unsafe, insecure—or inconvenienced, even. There's going to be some extremely conservative blowback to the perceived lawlessness that happened in the form of protests, riots, and tent cities. There will even be marijuana blowback. Mark my words. America's a pendulum. Trump's presidency was just the tip of the iceberg. All my little coal mine canaries are going from progressive poster children to NIMBY law and order voters. There will be blood. It'll be a bloodbath.
