Nobody cares about climate change nearly enough
I still don't think anyone personally cares enough to actually do anything that would require extreme personal sacrifice, the kind the Brits and the Americans suffered during the world wars, domestically. Sacrificing products, services, cars, tires, nylon, meat, petrol/gas, etc, etc. To sacrifice travel, flying, tourism, vacations. An enforced global pandemic could barely shut down and quarantine people. Plus, rich people always cheat a lot on pleb rules, restrictions, and laws.
