Whatever happened to code-switching?
I remember when code switching was a thing.
When one was encouraged to both speak the culture of the lingua franca as well as maintaining and growing and building one's own culture.
I guess there needs to be an entire FUBU subculture built and maintained, separate but equal. I guess there already is, right?
