Killing Fox News to save the soul of America from itself
There's a difference between Fox News dying from general free market popularity failure and it being systematically dismantled or gelded or boycotted into submission or death. However, I guess both are fair game, I guess; though the second choice could surely paint Fox a martyr and the coup de grâce could be painted as an anti-first amendment tyranny. It's really all about optics. I mean, Trump's loss has been terrible for news revenue on all platforms across both sides of the aisle. Via On the Media and the lovely Bob Garfield in their most openly paternalistic episode they've ever dropped. It's amazing. Bravo! And all to protect America and Americans from ourselves.
